Where to buy iPhone Duo in Singapore

Apple's online store and the Apple Store app, or one of Apple's three stores (Apple store list):

For store pickup, Apple asks for your order number, a government-issued photo ID and the QR code from its pickup notification, and does not accept screenshots of the email (Apple's pickup rules, written for the US store).

Singapore or Malaysia?

Malaysia is cheaper. The 256GB model is RM 9,499 there, about S$2,971 at the 7 October rate, or roughly S$128 less than in Singapore. At 2TB the difference is only about S$51 (Malaysia prices).

Visitors to Singapore may be able to claim back the GST under the Tourist Refund Scheme, but only if they are 16 or older, not citizens or permanent residents, buy from a retailer in the scheme with their passport, and leave through Changi or Seletar airport with the phone within two months (IRAS). Leaving by land does not qualify.
