Apple TV 4K price in 39 countries: where it's cheapest
The new Apple TV 4K costs $299 in the US, and the US is the cheapest of 39 countries once prices are converted to dollars. Canada (about $302) and Hong Kong (about $306) come closest; Brazil, at about $723, is the most expensive. We took the official price from each Apple online store that lists it, converted it to US dollars and ranked the countries. Pre-orders opened on October 13 in the US and 29 other countries and regions, and the box reaches stores on Friday, November 13 (Apple Newsroom).

Prices from each country's Apple online store on October 19, 2026. There is only one model, so every country has one price. Dollar figures use ExchangeRate-API rates of October 7 and will move with the currency. US and Canadian prices are before sales tax, which is added at checkout; the other prices include VAT or GST. That is one reason the UK price of £299, the same number as in the US, comes out at about $397.
What stands out
- Nowhere beats the US on list price. Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia and Japan are all within about $16 of it.
- The euro area pays €349 in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain, about $393. Luxembourg, with the euro area's lowest standard VAT rate of 17%, charges €337.46.
- In the Gulf, the UAE's AED 1,199 (about $326) is cheaper than Saudi Arabia's SAR 1,349 (about $360).
- India, Türkiye and Brazil are the three most expensive, at about $414, $457 and $723. Brazil's R$3,599 is 2.4 times the US price.
Why it costs more than the last Apple TV
The previous Apple TV 4K came in two versions, most recently priced at $199 and $249 in the US after an earlier price rise. The new one has a single $299 configuration, so the starting price has gone from $129 to $299 this year (MacRumors). China's Apple online store had no Apple TV 4K page on October 19; the link sent visitors to the store's home page.
What is new in Apple TV 4K (4th generation)
- A19 chip: up to 50% faster CPU and up to 2x faster GPU than the previous model, plus a dedicated AV1 decoder for streaming that uses less bandwidth.
- Siri AI with far-field microphones: three built-in microphones let you talk to Siri hands-free, without the remote.
- Surround sound with four speakers: for the first time, four HomePod mini 2 or HomePod (2nd generation) speakers can work together as a surround setup, as long as the front and rear pairs match.
- Siri Remote with Find My: Precision Finding and a sound you can play to find a lost remote.
- Home hub: Wi-Fi and Thread built in, with Apple Intelligence descriptions of HomeKit Secure Video camera activity.
