The first iPhone Duo preorders will be delivered on Friday, October 23, 2026, the day it goes on sale in more than 70 countries and regions. Preorders open on Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. Pacific time (12:00 UTC), and 28 more countries and regions get the phone on October 30 (Apple Newsroom). Whether you get it on the 23rd depends on how early you order: Apple shows a delivery date at checkout, and those dates move back as launch-day stock runs out. We will add the delivery dates Apple shows once preorders open.

How fast launch-day dates can go: the iPhone 18 Pro

Apple has not said how many Duos it will have. The best guide is last month's iPhone 18 Pro launch, which MacRumors tracked on Apple's US store:

Our expectation, not a fact: a first-generation foldable could run out of launch-day delivery slots at least as fast. If the date matters to you, order in the first minutes on October 16.

Where to see your delivery date

  1. At checkout. Apple shows the delivery options and dates for your address before you pay.
  2. In the order acknowledgement email. It lists the delivery address and a delivery date.
  3. In Order Status (apple.com/orderstatus or the Apple Store app). It gives an estimate for when each item ships and arrives. Items ship as they become available.
  4. In the shipment notification email. Apple sends it when the phone leaves the warehouse, with the carrier, the tracking number and a delivery date. Apple can also send text updates on delivery day.

Apple chooses the carrier, and some shipments need a signature; the shipment email tells you if yours does. Once an order has been prepared for shipment, Apple can no longer change the address. All of this is from Apple's shipping and pickup help page, which describes the US store.

Picking it up at an Apple Store instead

From Apple's pickup rules. During the iPhone 18 Pro launch, store pickup stayed available for launch day for some models after delivery dates had slipped, MacRumors noted, so it is worth checking both.
