Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf Max Battle Day: times, regions and bonuses
The lake trio make their Dynamax debut in Pokémon GO on Saturday 24 October 2026, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. For three hours, five-star Max Battles at Power Spots feature Dynamax Uxie, Mesprit or Azelf, and which one you can battle depends on where you live. The details below are from the official Pokémon GO announcement.
Which one appears where
| Pokémon | Region |
|---|---|
| Dynamax Uxie | Asia-Pacific |
| Dynamax Mesprit | Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India |
| Dynamax Azelf | The Americas and Greenland |
All three can be Shiny. To collect all three, trade with a friend in another region or travel there. During the event you can make three Special Trades that day instead of one.
Event bonuses, 2 to 5 p.m. local time
- Every Power Spot hosts Dynamax battles, more Power Spots are active, and they refresh more often.
- Power Spots give 8× Max Particles.
- You can collect up to 1,600 Max Particles that day.
- Two extra Special Trades, for a maximum of three.
From midnight to 5 p.m. local time on 24 October you also get double Max Particles from exploring, and you need only a quarter of the usual walking distance to earn them. For these bonuses to apply, you must first collect all the Max Particles in the Nearby menu.
The event ticket
An optional paid ticket is sold in the in-game shop until 5 p.m. local time on 24 October. It gives:
- 1 Max Mushroom
- 25,000 XP
- 6,400 Max Particles
- Double XP from Max Battles during the event
The ticket cannot be bought with PokéCoins. You can buy one as a gift for a friend you are Great Friends with or better, and purchases are not refundable. The Pokémon GO Web Store will also sell an "Ultra Ticket Box" for US$4.99 (or the matching price in your currency), with the ticket and 800 Max Particles.

How to get ready
- Bring a team. The announcement says Max Battles take great teamwork, so meet up with other Trainers. The Map on the Pokémon GO website (pokemongo.com/map) shows where Max Battles may appear during the event.
- Pick the right attackers. Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf are all Psychic-type, and Dark-, Ghost- and Bug-type attacks are super effective against Psychic-type Pokémon.
- Save Max Particles before Saturday, and check your Max Mushrooms.
