Pokémon GO Spotlight Hour: October schedule and bonuses
Pokémon GO's Spotlight Hour now runs on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time. It moved from Tuesdays when it returned on 18 June 2026 (Tech Times). For one hour, one Pokémon appears far more often in the wild, with one bonus for everyone.

How to use each bonus
- Elgyem, 2× Catch Candy: a good hour to collect the 50 Candy needed to evolve Elgyem into Beheeyem.
- Stufful, 2× Transfer Candy: catch now, then transfer the ones you don't want before 7 p.m. to get double Candy back. Bewear also costs 50 Candy.
- Morelull, 2× Catch Stardust: pop a Star Piece for even more Stardust from every catch.
- Gastly, 2× Evolution XP: save Candy for cheap evolutions, such as Gastly into Haunter for 25 Candy, then evolve them all with a Lucky Egg running.
Raid Hours: Wednesdays, 6 to 7 p.m.
During Raid Hour, the current five-star Legendary appears at almost every Gym.

Max Mondays: Mondays, 6 to 7 p.m.
A Dynamax Pokémon takes over Power Spots for the hour. It is also the Max Battle Pokémon for that week.
