Nintendo Switch Sports Resort comes out on Thursday 22 October 2026, and only on the Nintendo Switch 2. It costs $49.99 in the US (Nintendo Store, Nintendo UK). It is the follow-up to Nintendo Switch Sports, with 12 motion-controlled sports played with the Joy-Con 2 controllers.

Skateboarding, Power Cruising and Prop Plane are "leisure sports" where you explore the island and hunt for photo spots. The setting is an island resort: Nintendo's European listing calls it Wuhu Island, the home of Wii Sports Resort, while the American listing calls it Spocco Resort.

The Switch 2 bundle
On the same day, Nintendo releases a Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort bundle for $529.99. It includes the console, a full download of the game and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online individual membership. Nintendo says it saves $27.98 against buying the three separately, and it is on pre-order at the Nintendo Store and at retailers. The game in the bundle is digital, not a cartridge.
