Pakistan Hajj 2027: Second Installment Deadline Oct 20
Pakistan's government Hajj scheme is collecting the second installment for Hajj 2027 from October 5 to October 20. Pilgrims who miss the deadline lose their place: their applications are canceled automatically and the money already deposited is refunded, the religious affairs ministry said. You must upload a certified medical fitness certificate before you can pay.
What to do before October 20
- Get a certified medical fitness certificate. Uploading it is mandatory before the second installment, the ministry said.
- Upload it in the Pak Hajj mobile app or on the Digital Hajj Portal. You can pay only after the upload.
- Pay the second installment in the app or portal by October 20. On the first day pilgrims paid through the OneLink network, with bank cards and with manual bank challans.
The ministry's website also lists the collection period as October 5 to 20, and Radio Pakistan reported the same deadline. The option to change your Hajj package closed before this payment phase opened.
How much
The amount due depends on your package. The reports checked for this page do not state it, so confirm it in the Pak Hajj app or with the ministry. For context, government packages for Hajj 2027 cost Rs1.2 million for the standard program of about 40 days and Rs1.3 million for the shorter 20- to 25-day program, Arab News Pakistan reported.
Key dates
| Date | What happens |
|---|---|
| Aug 25 | All seats under the government scheme were booked online |
| Mon, Oct 5 | The second installment window opens |
| Tue, Oct 20 | Deadline for the government scheme second installment |
| Fri, Nov 20 | Deadline to select and pay for a private-scheme package |
The first day
On Monday, October 5, 14,605 pilgrims paid their second installment, bringing in Rs9.3 billion ($33 million). The ministry said more than 75 percent made their payments online from home through the Digital Hajj Portal. Of the 14,605, about 10,000 paid through the OneLink payment network, 899 used bank cards and 3,612 opted for manual bank challans, as reported on October 6.
If you chose the private scheme
A different deadline applies: November 20, to select and pay for a package. Pay only through the Hajj portal or the Pak Hajj app. The ministry says it will not be responsible for any loss if you pay an individual or a company directly, Arab News Pakistan reported. Sixteen basic packages from authorized companies are priced between Rs1.4 million and Rs3.75 million, and the ministry has said direct payments to any individual or company are prohibited, it said in September.
Quota and policy
Saudi Arabia allocated Pakistan 179,210 places for Hajj 2027: 107,526 for the government scheme and 71,684 for private operators. It is the first year of Pakistan's four-year Hajj policy for 2027 to 2030, which also lets people register for later seasons through 2030.
