Apple has not announced an October event, but Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports it is planning one for Tuesday, October 13, to show a smart home hub with a screen, a new HomePod mini and an updated Apple TV, MacRumors reported. When this page was written on October 6, Apple's events page still listed the September 9 event as its latest, and no invitation had gone out. This page covers what is reported, not what is confirmed.

What is confirmed and what is not

What Apple is expected to show on October 13

These are reports, not announcements. Details come from Gurman's reporting as summarized by MacRumors.

"Siri AI" is the new Siri Apple introduced at WWDC on June 8, 2026, according to Apple's events page. Prices were not reported in the sources checked.

Start time in your city if it begins at 10 am Pacific

This is an assumption, not an announcement. Apple's September 9 event started at 10 a.m. Pacific time, MacRumors noted. If the October event begins at the same hour, that is 17:00 UTC on October 13.

Another launch later in October

MacRumors says its own sources point to a second set of launches in the final week of October, on top of October 13. It does not know which products, but the most likely are Macs, it reported:

MacRumors notes that Apple has already said a high-end Mac Studio with an M5 Ultra chip and 512GB of memory arrives in "late October". A new iPad mini with an OLED display and an A20 Pro chip is also expected this month, but it is unclear whether it will come on October 13, in late October or at another time.

The iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable iPhone, is due to launch on Friday, October 23, with pre-orders from October 16, according to MacRumors.
