Where Season 3 ended
Season 3 closed with Kate Wyler, the US ambassador in London, finding out about a secret plan by her husband Hal, now Vice President, and President Grace Penn to steal a dangerous Russian nuclear torpedo. It is a plot she is now caught up in (Variety).
What Season 4 is about
Netflix's synopsis says "two marriages threaten to eat each other alive". One disaster breaks the fragile peace Kate brokered between the US and the UK, and her own marriage is falling apart. To stop Hal and Grace, she teams up with an unlikely ally: the First Gentleman, Todd Penn (What's on Netflix).
Cast
- Keri Russell as Kate Wyler
- Rufus Sewell as Hal Wyler
- Allison Janney as President Grace Penn
- Bradley Whitford as Todd Penn
- Rory Kinnear as Prime Minister Nicol Trowbridge
- Ato Essandoh as Stuart Hayford, Ali Ahn as Eidra Park and Nana Mensah as Billie Appiah
Catch up before 15 October
Seasons 1 to 3 are on Netflix. Season 3 came out in October 2025, so a rewatch of its last two episodes is enough to remember the torpedo plot.
