The Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, round 17 of 22 in the MotoGP world championship, runs from Friday, Oct. 9 to Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit on the island of Lombok. The 27-lap Grand Prix starts at 15:00 local time on Sunday (07:00 UTC). Saturday's 13-lap Sprint also starts at 15:00 (07:00 UTC), according to MotoGP's official schedule feed.

The weekend comes with the title fight wide open. Marc Márquez (Ducati) won both the Sprint and the Grand Prix in Japan this weekend and now trails Jorge Martín (Aprilia) by just two points, Grande Premio reports. Six rounds remain, starting with Mandalika.

Mandalika is on Central Indonesia Time (WITA, UTC+8), an hour ahead of Jakarta. UK and European clocks change on Oct. 25 and US clocks on Nov. 1, so these times use summer time there. Sydney's clocks went forward on Oct. 4. Times without a day are on the same day as the session in Mandalika.

MotoGP's own schedule says 15:00, so go by that and check again on race morning, because promoters can change times.

Mandalika and what happened last year

Mandalika joined the MotoGP calendar in 2022. The winners of the MotoGP race so far are Miguel Oliveira (2022, in the rain), Francesco Bagnaia (2023), Jorge Martín (2024) and Fermín Aldeguer (2025), Wikipedia's list shows. Last year's race was chaotic from the start: Márquez, then the reigning champion, was taken out on the first lap when pole-sitter Marco Bezzecchi, trying to climb back up the field, hit the rear of his Ducati. Márquez was injured, and Aldeguer went on to win by almost seven seconds, Crash.net reported.

Tickets for the weekend are sold on MotoGP's official ticket site.

Schedule, broadcasters and standings are as published on Oct. 4, 2026. Check MotoGP's official schedule before each session.
