WA ATAR Exam Timetable 2026: Every Written Exam Date
Western Australia's 2026 ATAR written exams start on Wednesday, October 28 with Aviation and Psychology, and finish on Wednesday, November 18 with Italian: Second Language. English is on Friday, October 30, and Mathematics Methods on Monday, November 2. Morning exams start at 9:20 a.m. and afternoon exams at 2 p.m. Below, every ATAR course is listed against its day and session, as set by WA's School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA).

Exam rules to know
- Arrive 30 minutes early, to allow time for seating, admin and instructions. SCSA makes no allowance for candidates who miss an exam because they misread the timetable.
- Length: most exams are 3 hours of working time plus 10 minutes of reading time. Some are 2½ hours; the timetable marks them.
- Maths exams (Applications, Methods and Specialist) have two sections: a calculator-free section with 5 minutes of reading and 50 minutes of working time, then a calculator-assumed section with 10 minutes of reading and 100 minutes of working time.
- Interstate language exams run on separate times: Modern Greek and Spanish at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3; Vietnamese at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4; and Arabic at 12 noon on Friday, November 6.
Results and ATAR
SCSA releases Year 12 results online in December, and TISC releases ATARs. Curtin University lists the 2026 ATAR release as Sunday, December 20, the same day as the TISC main-round deadline (Curtin University). Check TISC for the confirmed time.
