NECTA CSEE 2026 timetable: Form Four exams from 19 October
Tanzania's Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) 2026, the Form Four national exam, begins with the 051/2 Food and Human Nutrition practical from 5 to 16 October 2026; the written papers run from Monday 19 October to Friday 6 November. They open with Civics at 8:00 and Kiswahili at 2:00 on 19 October, according to the NECTA CSEE 2026 timetable published by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania.

Form Two (FTNA) is on at the same time
The Form Two National Assessment (FTNA) started on 12 October and its written papers end on Friday 23 October, with some practicals from 19 to 23 October (NECTA FTNA 2026 timetable). NECTA notes that its assessments continue as scheduled even on a public holiday.
Rules to remember
- Arrive on time: NECTA's notice says candidates more than half an hour late are not allowed into the examination room.
- Sit the exam at the centre where you are registered, and follow the supervisor's and invigilators' instructions.
- Bring only the materials allowed for each paper, and write in blue or black ink; drawings in pencil.
- Private candidates need an identification letter authorising them to sit the exam at that centre.
